The project „We sort the waste – we save nature“ aimed on the environmental education shall be realized between kindergartens calls MŠ SNP Čadca (Slovakia) and kindergarten MŠ Vyhlídka (Czech Republic). The target groups are 4 teachers (lectors) from each country, one class of preschool children from each country and their parents. The project goal is describe to children possibilities about sorting and separation of waste and its connection with environmental education. This will be done by playful form of adequate age for children.
The purpose is also mutual sharing of experience between lectures on both side of borders and involving of children´s parents. Lectures, childrens and their parents will be cooperate on the preparation of the main project outputs during the whole project. For all activities will be used the methodology of environmental education according the school education plan for preschool facilities. Into the project will be involved external experts specialized on the environmental education as well (f.e.: Czech Union for Nature Conservation, Museum of region Valašsko).
The main project output is fairy-tale book with stories connect with the project theme. This book will be prepared during the whole project and it will containe both fairy-tales and fables. Ths book will be illustrated by paintings of children and a shorts performances will be rehearsed for disemination of the fairy-tales and fables, which will be presented during the mobility of children with their parents. The next project outputs will be interactive education programs and sets for help prepared by children to environmental education.
By implementation of the project will be reached the sharing of the good practices and experience between lectures, parents and preschool children. This will be done by realization of the short education activities, by a new approach in environmental education for prechool children. The project outputs shall be use for others kindergartens in Czech Republic and Slovakia also in others European cities as well. The project benefit is obvious especially according the creative project activities. Without the co-financing by Erasmus+ program the project would not be realized considering the participation of children ´s parents and the area of preshool education.
